The RTA Administration Department is responsible for processing all purchasing requests of goods and/or services needed to fulfill its mission at the highest ethical standards utilizing the most cost effective methods while adhering to applicable codes, guidelines, regulations, rules and procedures.
The RTA utilizes a third party electronic procurement system to post contract opportunities. Vendors will need to register with RTA’s portal page on the site, PlanetBids, to receive procurement notifications and download procurement materials. Vendors who are currently registered with Planet Bids will not need to create a new profile. For technical support with the registration process, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The RTA is dedicated to ensuring full and open competition and strives to include as many potential sources as possible in the procurement process. We especially encourage local, small businesses and disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) to register with the RTA. The RTA promotes DBE participation in our projects and has adopted a DBE Program Goal of 5.5% for federally funded projects awarded through September 30, 2023. We are eager to work with qualified DBE vendors who are ready, willing, and able to help us advance the RTA’s mission. The RTA is currently closed to the public. If you require immediate assistance, please notify staff by using the RTA front door intercom. When visiting the RTA facility in person, all visitors must wear face coverings and maintain a safe physical distance as directed by Public Health.
